Corporate History
1969 In the city centre of Correggio, within premises of 60 sqm., three friends become partners and establish Stampotecnica. In this way, the production of injection moulds on subcontracting begins.
1975 Corporate structure changes, introducing the activity of plastic materials injection moulding. The premises are moved into rented facilities of 500 sqm.
80’s The first pressure Microregulator made from thermoplastic technopolymers is realized. This is the beginning of a long history in which Stampotecnica will play a leading role in the pneumatic components sector also. After 3 years 15 employees enter the first owned facilities featuring 1500 sqm of new space. In 1987 Space is no longer enough, therefore an extension is implemented bringing the surface to 2.200 sqm. The employees working here are 33 now.
90’s CAD systems are introduced in the company. Research and development start a new era, while the first machining centre is purchased. Next year the willingness to explore new markets coincides with the first exhibition abroad. Hannover calls, Stampotecnica replies.
1994 AirComp is created, a true company division specialized in the realization of pneumatic components. At the same time Stampotecnica obtains his first UNI EN 29002 certification. The year after the new premises of Aircomp division are inaugurated.
2000 The company introduces the first robots with a view to enhance the injection moulding activities. Meanwhile, AirComp widens his production range, launching the valves and solenoid valves program. A few years after new Logistics location is established, the employees are 60 by now and the quality certification ISO 9001 is obtained. In 2005 AirComp adds a new line of pneumatic cylinders to his range and in 2008 further expands his program introducing push-in fittings.
2010 Aircomp presents the first regulators made from certificated materials for the Food & beverage Industry.
2014 Stampotecnica counts the 100th mounted and tested assembly for his Customers.
2019 After 50 years of activity and success, Stampotecnica and AirComp restyle their respective trademarks. AirComp is the 3° largest Italian manufacturer for FRL units in terms of volume-number of produced items with distributors in more than 30 countries.
