SIM 150

Aircomp by Stampotecnica has enriched its program with an important missing link between the traditional valve and the multipole valve island worlds.

The new SIM 150 combines flexibility and ease of assembly, typical of the valves on manifold, to the advantages of the electric and pneumatic wiring of the more advanced valves islands. It starts a new concept of valve body with reduced size, thanks to the position of the double pilot on one side only, with upgraded functions through the introduction of modules integrable to the island. SIM150 is also increased to host up to 20 valves.

Why calling it SIM? It is the acronym of ‘Multipolar Integrated System’. Thanks to the line of valves on modular manifold it it is possible to create proper systems able to integrate a wide range of extra-functions.

Why 22mm? The SIM project is destined to revolutionise the world of traditional valves creating a technologically advanced alternative. The 22mm single valves’ standard size has been chosen in order to offer a wider coverage of several productive sectors.

Not just rationalisation. The line SIM150 is an effective tool for the rationalisation of the pneumatic systems, which allows to reduce the costs of assemblage and wiring. It is also a proper distinctive element able to add value to the whole system, thanks to the evident characteristics of performance, reliability and design.

Complete island or single modules? The line SIM150 has been designed to be managed directly by the Distributors who, purchasing the single modules, are able to offer the highest flexibility while assembling the islands. It will always be possible to request complete islands already assembled and tested just compiling the ‘Reference guide for a complete valve island’ available in the Aircomp documentation.

Threaded or automatic connection? The choice is easy because there are several opportunities. Every single component complete with a connection can be provided with quick fitting or threaded port.

Just multipole? SIM150, as well as MP160, is now available with 25 or 44 pin multipole connection. Soon the ‘FIELD BUS’ version will be provided in a wide range of serial languages.
